Re: Pelicans
Is pluck foam kit included?
Sorry, I thought it was a video about travel cases :) All seriousness aside, I enjoyed your video. You really got some good cloud colors mixed in there. I was in Washington a couple years ago and got some nice footage driving through the Hoh Rain Forest. Had rented the Hummer H3 and mounted a couple slow mo wide angle cams to the roof. Came out nice. OTOH, my sunrise video from Alki Pt (?) was horrible. Nice work, hope you post some more. Mark |

Re: Pelicans
Thanks so much Mark. If you got good footage in the Hoh it must have been summer, any other time and, well you know, it's a rain forest... The clouds can be gorgeous on this coast, I just wish there was a way to predict precisely when. Amazing the number of trips that are nothing but grey.

Re: Pelicans
Yeah, it was definitely the odd clear day. Got to raining on trip back of course. I'm from up there originally, so I know all too well about the weather. Trees growing like weeds. This summer they say they got over 85 days straight without rain, a record.

Re: Pelicans
Mark,
Nice footage, my only comment would be, i would like to have seen the sky color grouped together for the opening shots. At the moment it is blue, warm, blue etc. Lovely shots Bob |

Re: Pelicans
I understand Bob. It would be nice to keep the sky more consistent, but the motion in the clips ended up getting priority over the color.

Re: Pelicans
Amazing, I had no idea Pelicans dropped like that, the Pelicans we have here in West Oz "scoop" along in groups at a sedate rate.
Well done. Al |
