Violent Fallow Deer Rut
Here is a link to a pair of Fallow Deer Bucks fighting during the recent rut. One gets pushed through a fence. He then realises that in pushing him through the fence his opponent has in fact become trapped in the fence. He then plans his revenge !!!!!!!!
Slightly shakey in places, but I hope still interesting. Mick |

"Bl%%Dy Hell, no holds barred, very interesting as we don't have that sort of thing here in West Oz. Al " They can be very dangerous when rutting, we get several people (some who class themselves as wildlife photographers who should know better) each year injured because the try and get to close. This was filmed at useing the long end of a 80-400mm nikon attached to jcv gy-hm700. A least I don't have to worry about being bitten by snakes and spiders when creeping through and hiding in the undergrowth here in the UK. |
