Green (The Film)
Hi everyone
A quick call out from me to all you fine UWOL folks. This film 'Green' won the best of festival at Wildscreen 2010. I would like to urge everyone to watch the film and pass on links to everyone they know. I don't think you will ever watch a more powerful and emotive wildlife film. It should be shown on every channel worldwide, then things would surely change! Please watch the film. Green The Film |

Hi Mat,
Thanks for posting this. It shows how with good editing how a picture can paint a thousdand words. Very powerful and moving. We went to Sabah nothern Borneo and part of Malaysia in 2003. In parts its as bad as the Indonesian side. When flying from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan which takes you from the west side to the east side of Sabah you just see mile after mile of palm oil plantations, so sad. We visited Sepilok orang utan sanctuary very eye opening. At that time there was still a fair amount of rain forest left, but no doubt that has now been well reduced. Its very difficult to write anything more without making some form of political statement! Again thanks for posting this link Mick and Pat |
