Wildlife documentary books
A friend of mine is studying biology at the University of Vienna and is interested in making a documentary with me (I am the poor guy with the camera and a little filmbackground she keeps asking about it). But that is about all she knows. The University does not offer any courses on film documentary.
Do you know any books that deal with research, structure and other aspects of planning and actually making documentaries with a focus on wildlife or a general book that can applied to any subgenre of documentaries? Our problem is that I don't know much about biology and she doesn't know anything about filming. If I could give her some books she could get a picture of what she really wants and we might be able to discuss this with actually understanding each other. Cheers and greetings from Austria, Peter
