Winter Surfing and Bodyboarding in New Jersey
Hello all!
Here's a video that I shot and edited long a little while back during December. It was shot with a Panasonic DV PROLINE AG-DVC30 and edited in Final Cut Express. Let me know what you think! I value all comments and criticisms! Thanks for watching! Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRhBS184cME I know youtube is a poor quality host but it came out clearer than I expected! |

First of all, you've got some killer footage there. Thick chunky walls with an open mouth. I like the way you shot most of it. I'm not a big fan of ultra close surf footage, I wanna see some perspective. Nice smooth pans and decent composition too. I didn't care for the soundtrack, didn't really match the footage very well. Something more along the lines of Rage Against the Machine would have been better. The editing could use some tightening up too. It didn't really have a flow to it, nor did your cutting sync up to the soundtrack. It almost felt like you edited the piece first and then put the music in. All in all most enjoyable. East Coast in December takes some kahones!!
