Marvelous Mammals is Editor's Pick on Revver
Hi,
I just wanted to let this forum know that a video I did for the UWOL contest here on dvinfo.net last fall- Marvelous Mammals- is currently on the first page of the editor's picks on Revver.com, where we posted it last week in search of a wider audience. So we are happy that the UWOL contest inspired this video, and glad that it will give the contest and this site more visibility. Thanks for such a great website! I joined a little over a year ago, and it has really encouraged and inspired me to work harder on my videos. There is a great community of nature and wildlife videographers here who have helped with feedback on my videos, and useful advice on shooting and editing video. Thanks again! Ruth

Thanks, Chris. On the strength of that video, I learned today I will soon be a featured creator at Revver. Thanks again for such a great site! I visit almost every day, and always learn something here.
Ruth

That's pretty cool. So gratifying to see the regular players succeeding and spreading their wings...

I enjoyed that Ruth. Robin is having fun capturing & projecting moods. Your rhododendron seems to have developed too. Did you use After Effects to get the bear to wave his paw?
Well done and keep at it. |

Thanks to all you UWOLers for the encouragement this past year. Yes, Kevin, Robin is really happy about it. Meryem, your contest has led a lot of us in new and exciting directions. Brendan, the bear actually just did that on its own- though some of the animal audio was done in post :) Trond, thanks for keeping in touch in between contests, that inspired Robin and me to keep busy this winter, which has been fun. We are ready for another season of UWOL! We're on vacation in CA now- enjoying the sunshine- waiting for the next theme!
best, Ruth
