You're right that YouTube doesn't do justice to HD, but Premiere elements does all the work including uploading, so that's why I put it there. I have just signed up with Vimeo, and uploaded a single clip from the video as an experiment. http://www.vimeo.com/818486 If you long on to Vimeo, you can download the original clip to see the quality of the A1. I definitely did not have the image stabiliser on - it was one of the first settings I checked when I got the camera. That shimmer on the YouTube video is the result of compression. Alternatively, it could have been the result of too high a shutter speed - I didn't realise until after a week or so that I was adjusting the exposure using the shutter dial because it is in the same place as the dial for exposure adjustment on the XM2/GL2 - old habits die hard!
