Great Color!

The color on this is great! Were you recording to an off-camera deck, using master-quality tape--something like that--or is the DVX just that good?

Hi Luke,

just on DVX deck with usual cheap Sony miniDv cassette. DVX is What You See Is What You Get :)

Peter,

some beautiful footage to be certain!! the footage is every bit as good as I would have expected from the dvx. A friend has a dvx and it puts out real rich colors.
nice job on the promo!! Is it your business?

Which reminds me, I've been meaning to ask if you had the white balance of the DVX on autopilot, or if you had it set to manual.

My DVX comes in just a few more days, but--I dieing to know how it handles!

Anticipatory sweat!

Yes, I was found underwater only Manual mode to set WB. Auto and preset mode work perfectly on land, but underwater there are not sufficent. Much better results in manual mode.

I had no idea the Red Sea had such clear water and wide range of
species in numbers. I learned something today! Great footage!!!
