Tripod height
Who knows some tripod models (low, mid budget) which maximum height as more than average....towards 2 metres (or more?). Purpose: to shoot above peoples heads.

Hmmm, popular question these last couple of days. Again I'll say the 3246 by Bogen/Manfrotto-with the leg extensions all the way out and the center column raised to max height it'll go to 8 feet. Of course its not as stabile with the center column maxed out but if you want height that'll do it. Put a decent head on it and you're good to go.

The Miller Solo VJ (3-stage, spreaderless, 190cm high - with head it goes over 200cm) and the Gitzo tripods with an adapter bowl.

Manfrotto 161Mk2. Very heavy, very stable, very big. Goes up to 2.42 metres without using the centre column. 2.67 metres with the centre column.
