hello,
still looking at tripods, i was wondering something. are accessories made by miller, cartoni, etc. really leaps and bounds above bogen accessories? due to circumstances i was just about sold on the libec LS-35 setup. i thought it came with a mid-level spreader, $250 extra for a mid-level. which, if i'm going to pay that i might as well spend a few hundred more and go with that cartoni alfa my heart desires or something bogen with a 505 head. even pan handles are double the price of bogen's, do these come with camera controls built in? (haha, i wish). i guess i need some sleep. that feels better.

Matt, the Millers are really nice but over priced in the USA. The prices are a bit better in Canada, but a way better in Australia. In Australia, Bogan's (Manfrottos) are expensive. Which are better? They're both good, but Millers are better, from what I can tell. How's that?
