Tripod?
Hi
Can anyone recommend a good tripod for the A1E which will enable me to pan smoothly - even though the camera is tiny? I was looking to spend no more than £250 ($440, 365Euros), ideally a bit less. Cheers Sean |

I really love Velbons, but maybe that's just me. I've found great success with them, even at 20x. They're not perfect, but they are quite nice, quite inexpensive, and quite solid. Pretty lightweight and very carryable to boot.
B&H has a pretty good selection of them. I'd look there. The one I use on my ZR was around $100. |

take a look at the bogen 701rc2 head. nice head for the price, works great with midweight cameras. handles my fx-1 well and is easy to carry in a backpack.

Thanks guys I'll take a look.
Someone else suggested I look at Manfrotto and Libec. Ever used anything by them? Cheers |
