Does your 505 "rub"?

I have a manuf. demo Bogen 505 that I may buy. When going to extreme tilt angles the head appears to rub the plastic housing that the springs are in....mostly by the door for spring change. Does anyone else's do this? Is this normal?

THanks!

my 505 does not do this... is the rubber spring cover misaligned? bogen may need to service the head. contact them via their website. it may take a few days for them to get back to you, but once they get the unit in their hands, they can get it fixed and back to you promptly.
