Identify this Sachtler tripod?

Hi guys,

Anyone help id this sachtler set of sticks I'm hoping to buy?

The thing is, I want a mid level spreader but this doesn't seem to have the attachments. I know the cine legs had a different attachment for the mid level spreader, any thoughts?

Also, does this look like a 100 or a 150mm bowl?

Cheers guys...

It looks like Caddy legs. Caddy is 100mm, but the only way to tell if it's 100 or 150 is to measure it, can't tell by looking at a picture.

Cheers, I've heard of the Caddy heads, but didn't know they did legs. Did they not take a mid spreader?

All the Caddy's I've worked with comes with a floor spreader, such as the one pictured. If you have a mid level spreader, you can attach it via pins at the mid section.

Re: Identify this Sachtler tripod?

Thanks for that, but I know how the mid level spreaders attach, just that this tripod doesn't have those attachments.

I've heard that with older Sachtlers you could get a snap lock attachment kit to modify these tripods but they would probably be impossible to get now. :(

Re: Identify this Sachtler tripod?

Cheers Chris, I know Barbara and she helped me date my Video 18 head. (1989 and still amazing)

It turns out it's an early ENG set of sticks before they had the mid spreader fixing so not going to bother. I've picked up a later set of sticks which have the fixing.

Cheers
Lenny
