Ancient Miller fluid head mount..?

It's been a while since I posted here. Anyway, I've recently acquired a Miller fluid head, a very old one with no model name. I plan to use this with a Bolex H16 and my GL2... any advice on a set of sticks? The head comes with a flat base (no ball), but since it hasn't arrived yet, I'm not sure what this entails. Does it have a standard 3/8" threaded hole for a standard mount like you find on the Bogen legs? Any advice here? Will I have to find/fabricate some kind of adapter? I'd rather not have to spend a huge amount of money on an ENG-type bowl mount. Under $150 for the legs is preferable.
