Manfrotto monopod
Is there a monopod that can hold a 701HDV head? would that work for run and gun video with a 5D mk2?

Manfrotto 562
Not sure what your needs are as far as weight capacity, but I have heard really great things about the Manfrotto 562. Comes with a 357 QR plate that you would just remove to at your 701. Has 3 feet on the bottom and a fluid ball bearing to facilitate pans etc. for video. Very sturdy. Depending on the Head you are using can support up to 17.6 lbs.. I just purchased one along with a 503 Head which should be here thursday I will try to drop back in with thoughts on the combo when it arrives.
