MANFROTTO 028B OR 536 - Looking for a tall tall tripod
Hi
Any thoughts on what you would go for. I'm using an EX1 It'll be used mostly to film weddings and live dancing at reception parties Cheers |

I've been using a Gitzo GT3540XLS. It extends 7 feet solidly and is very light.

if the 028 is the old Bogen #3246 which I think it is, with the lower leg extentions out and the center colum raised all the way it will get up to 8 feet in the air. I've done it for static cams but frankly as sturdy as the legs are I don't know that I'd want to go that high and try moving around at all even on a set of wheels but if height is what you want then personally I think it will do the job for you.
