suggestions for motorized head
Can anyone recommend a good motorized head for doing time lapse pans or tilts? (One that doesn't break the bank.) I've seen mentions from time to time of people using heads made for telescopes, is anyone using one of these?
Thanks-

I've been using the KD Mount from Mizar Optical Instruments and it works just fine. When I bought it cost was around AUD 200, it doesn't get much cheaper than that.
I did some basic metalwork to fit a 75mm ball I bought from Miller and added a spirit level. KD Motor Mount |

You don't say what camera you are using. If it is something lightweight, this is effective -

The minimum speed on the Hague is too fast to use for time lapse. Thanks though.
