Nearly............

Think you got a bit carried away and deleted the end quote box.

I have a print out of the "vB Code List" telling you chapter and verse how to use all this stuff.

Printed it 2 years ago and it WAS in the FAQ gallery (so says the heading, anyway), but I've just trawled it from top to bottom and it seems to have gone AWOL.

Anyone know where it's decamped to?

[Appologies for this swerve into the scenery, BTW]

Well as you see.....

Chris,

I tried as you instructed but did not get the quote in a separate box as other posts of quotes are displayed. I clicked on the Quote button, which brings me to the "Reply To Thread" page. I then erased all that I did not want in the quote section and began my message in that box. When you say...

Hit the "Quote" button then the "reply" button.

I have no "replay button" after I hit the "Quote button" to hit on that page, just a "submit reply button", which give me the above results.

Hip-Hip Hurray I got it!

Thanks Chris, it worked!

My 3AS, CF legs, bag, and spreader will be delivered tomorrow. Still have to wait on the 75 to 100mm adaptor as it will be delivered later for whatever reason.

Good to go then...........

Think you've got it all pretty well sussed there Melvin.

Gonna be happier than a baboon with a whole stick of bananas when that lot lands on your living room floor.

Gotta say there is NOTHING so good as unwrapping super gear and getting the FEEL of quality. Had the same feeling the day I got my first Vinten head, better than Christmas.

Enjoy, and keep us posted as to how it works out.

"New tripod smell" - better than "new car smell", Chris!

I was nearly crying when I opened my Sachtler when it was new. Both due to the build quality and the price. Since then, Sachtler brought out the FSB range (more affordable) and Vinten have the AS range (no need to change springs). I'm crying even more now!

I got it, uh hah

Well Gents,

All pieces to my Vinten System has arrived, that is except the 75 to 100mm adaptor. So I still can't set up the camera. Talk about a tease!

I'll keep you informed.
