nexpensive Carbon Fiber Tripod
I recently purchased a carbon fiber tripod for use when traveling with my Nikon D-70. At $110, the tripod-only purchase has turned out very well.
While the 1" tubes would be a little light for a pan shot with heavy drag, the slightly larger tripod they have should be very good for something up to a DSR-300. The tripod weights a little over 3 Lbs. Toggle locks on the legs and a rising center column. All metal is blackened Magnesium. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ME:B:EOTB:MT:6 is the unit I purchased. From there you can get to their other iitems. I have no connection with these folks other than as a satisfied customer.
