Need help w/ camera plate
Is there anywhere where I can buy just a camera plate for my XL1s? And if so, where and how much? Thanks for any help.

The camera plate is usually related to the tripod mount, So you
have to look for a camera plate for your tripod head. Or did I miss you ? |

Without more specifics It's hard to say what you need. The plate would have to be compatible with your pan head. What are you trying to mount your camera to?
Manfrotto makes an adaptor you can mount on your pan head that will accept a sliding plate (sold together). There are many others as well, but that one is pretty reasonable, under $50 when I bought one a few years ago. It's an inexpensive way to add sliding balance adjustment to a head that doesn't have that already.
