Am I hurting my head?
When I am editing footage in my computer, I constantly have to check the results on tv by using my XL1s to connect the computer to the tv. As I do this my camera sits on the tripod next to me because there isn't much room on my desk. I have a 3063 Bogen head on which the camera sits. So far all of my video equipment is only 3 weeks old and the camera has spent most of the time on the tripod and head....so I am wondering if the sustained weight from the camera will take away from the performance of the head somewhere down the line.
Thanks? |

It's also good practice to lock the head in a level position when you store a tripod in a tube or bag.
