i have the bogen tray and it is pretty well made, the only thing is that it is a little small.
if you know anybody with a welding setup you can buy a bogen or matthews piece that has a 5/8th female and a rectangular plate welded to it, you would just need to weld a large enough hold the laptop. i would also bend the edges to keep it from sliding around and probably put some industrial strength velcro on it and/or some straps like the bogen tray. i don't have to expand mine because i use a sony gv-800 mini dv deck on my skycrane jr. matthew |

Try these:
http://www.music123.com/Quik-Lok-MS329-Clamp-on-tray-i74493.music I believe that Quik Lok makes larger, more heavy duty clamp on stands, but it seems that www.quiklok.com is down right now... http://www.micsupply.com/standshelf.htm Alex F |
