Vinten Vision 3 head with non-Vinten legs?
Hi, I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know if the Vinten Vision 3 head would fit cheaper Bogen/Gitzo stand/legs?
I can't really afford a Vinten Vision 3 as a complete package right now, but I can afford a Miller DS-5/10 up to about $1500. Obviously, I'd prefer to get a Vision 3, but life's always about compromises until you have more money. |

From all my research in the past few days I would say as long as the legs have the same interface (75mm in this case) then you are fine. There are also a host of adapters to fit almost any configuration you could come up with.

The Vision 3 head rules, it's definatley worth looking for a cheaper set of sticks. I was fortunate enough to get a Vision 3 set on ebay for a good price. The price of a Vinten mid spreader is outrageous however, and ther eare no kits that come with it. It's an added expense *sigh*

How's the Vision 3 compare to the Pro6? It's more in my price range.
