Is Manfrotto 520BALL adapter universal?
Does anyone here know whether the Manfrotto 520BALL 75mm bowl adapter will fit all makes of tripods with a 75mm bowl? Or is this a proprietary design intended only for Manfrotto and Gitzo tripods? Specifically, I am wondering if it would fit a Libec T68 tripod. Thanks.

520ball
yes it should work on any 75mm bowl tripod. I too am looking to buy this.
it doesn't have a level bubble in it however. As I have the gitzo gt3531lsv and was torn between the 520ball leveler and the Gitzo GS5121LV ball leveler which has a fluid bubble level on it. But the Gitzo version is almost 5 times the cost of the Manfrotto 520ball. So, I'll be getting the cheaper of the two, 520ball leveler. Cheers, Dave |
