Anybody have trouble with DS5 and Pana DVC80 or DVX100?
I just got a DS5 solo system, and the screw on the mounting plate won't reach the DVC80 threads.
When i try plate on my TRV900, it mates, but only by 2 threads. Anyone else have problems with pana to DS5 connection?

I wonder if the thumbscrew is defective or something? I use a PDX-10 on my DS-5 and have never noticed a problem. Actually the plate hasn't been off the camera in a long time, but I think I would have noticed if it only grabbed two threads...

I'm talking to the Miller support center to see if it's a defective thumbscrew. Will post what/when i find out.

Follow up:
Miller's west coast support has identified proper screw, and given me a source to get it quickly. Still don't know if it's panasonic or miller problem. Miller support is really trying to fix this. I'm impressed.
