"Unbalanced" 700RC2
Don't know if some of you guys encounter any un-level 700RC2, meaning that it leans to the right (because of the way it is built?).
Shooting diagonal shots, it is not that obvious but straight on shots it is. |

I have the 700RC2 here with me.. I just checked it out with one of those construction level bubbles thing. I can´t seem to find any "unbalance" on the head. the bubble stays in the middle...
Even so, all the times I´ve used I´ve never saw any problems with it. Could it be the legs you have?

Thanks.
No, the legs are even, I used a bubble to check it. If you look at the design of the 700RC2, the support is on left side, with the middle and right sides of the support hanging "in the air". I did not put anything heavy, just the VX2100 on it, which is 3.5 lbs. But now it is drooping to the right, as if I put something heavy on. Well, I guess another 700RC2 is cheaper than some head to correct the slope, some of these babies cost $400, ha, ha. |
