"The Prompter People" Tripod -- anyone?
Hi all --
Has anyone tried the tripod of "The Prompter People"? Its only $399.- incl. a fluid head. It's likely a Chinese knockoff, but looks very similar to the Libec legs. Teleprompters - Prompter People |

This is not really a direct answer to your question but a friend has some of their flo lights and they seem to be a good product.

I suppose the question I have to ask is "tried it for what"?
I could go through that web page you posted and give you a blow by blow on why I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, but unless you're seriously thinking of parking one under an HD camera, there really is no point. My advice, look elsewhere. Oh, and cheap is as cheap does. Always has been, always will be. CS |
