Libec/Manfrotto plates
Hiya,
I have a Libe LS 55 with the H55 Head. It may be a long shot but is the slideing plate the same width as the Manfrotto 503 plate???? Im wondering if mine will fit into a manfrotto 577 QR adaptor? Thanks Andy |

Andy,
The LS55 seems to have a similar head to the Libecs I used (LS 37 and 950DV). I used the MN577. You mount this on top of your Libec plate and use the Manfrotto plate instead. The Libec plate is still in there, under the MN577, but you just forget about using it. You can then mount your camera on other devices that accept the standard 501 or 501 Long plates.

hi there
I have the Libec LS38 and a Manfrotto 501. They aren't interchangeable. I did as Andy says, get a couple of Manfrotto QR adapters and you can fit your gear up to be compatible. I added one to my shoulder support too... Means I can quickly swap my camera to all supports. Regards Garteh |

Thanks, I think maybe the QR plates attached to my libec would be the most cost effective option.
