Libec LS-38 and Rubber Tips?
I got my LS-38 a couple of weeks ago and am very happy with it. My Canon XH-A1 is a bit light for the LS-38's head, but when I add my Firestore FS-C to the hot shoe, it balances very well.
Anyway, on to my question... The instruction booklet which comes with the tripod is a superb example of a Google-like translation from one language to another! You'd think they'd go to the effort of having a native English speaker proof-read it! One thing which is not covered in the instruction booklet, is whether or not I should take the little rubber tips off the pointed stakes at the end of the legs when using the large rubber feet. I think the feet have a little more flexibility without the rubber tips on. Any advice? |

I left mine on too for exactly the same reason. Glad it's not just me! :-)
