HD camcorders face limitations

Canon HV20 = $1,750. The article even says that HDV is still hard to playback on current machines. I guess he never tried using Windows Media player 11 or DIVX to play HDV files.

Hmm, it looks like Canon bumped up the price for Canada... or is that a typo?

Once you convert the money I was expecting the price of the HV20 to be a bit high in Canadian dollars but I didn’t think that actual price would go that high.
