That is one of my fav single scenes of all time from Annie Hall, one of the greatest movies, comedy or otherwise, IMHO. The expert was Marshall McLuhan, a media expert of the time who is most famous for the term "the medium is the message".

You folk should watch the two monty python films "the holy grail" and "the life of brian" thats comedy. And failing that just listn to any Billy Connoly, if he doesnt make you laugh your dead inside.
