What's it like to wait in line for a PS3?

I still can’t believe I didn’t hang out the night before the launch videotaping people waiting in line outside Copley Plaza in Boston. Inside is a Sony Style store and the mall is attached to the Western Hotel so you could have basically stayed at the hotel for a night and be one of the first in line.
I found out that there were hundreds of people and the store only had 20. It could have been truly a perfect videotaping opportunity mixed with thunderstorms and everything. Just 2 days ago I went to a Cambridge Gallery Mall and entered an EB games store and saw one person buying the last 20 gig PS3 that they had. I told one of the workers how could their be a PS3 left and every other place sold out within minutes to half hour and they told me that everybody wanted the 60 gig model instead. This proves that people are smart to realize that although the more expensive model cost 600 dollars before tax, you get a much better value.

Even though the profit would be nice, your lucky you got your stuff so easy lol. You read about people getting shot, mugged, riots, etc. its like WTF people. I'll take my 600 dollars and invest in a mic, some lights, a nice LCD, or something else useful lol. I must say though the profit must be nice :)
