That's just insane! 2GB of VRAM! The painter of the flames on the cases, Mike Lavalee is a local chap. The production company next door just completed a DVD on his work. http://killerpaint.com/ Pretty cool. TLC just filmed him with the F900 CineAlta for the show "Rides" Nice! You could buy an HVX and a couple of P2s for that dough
Funny how Dell doesn't indicate the original speed of the chips. I checked Intel's site and the fastest Extreme Edition chip is 3.73Ghz. Which means, they're getting you about 500Mhz extra.
I never got the point of these souped up PCs. Maybe if you are a hardcore gamer but otherwise your ho-hum $500 Dell gives you the same web-surfing experience as this monster. |
