Toronto or Vancouver?
hi there,
I have just got a one year working visa to Canada and I am considering my options. I am currently live in Ireland and although have training and some experience in tv productions (assistant editing, research) However I have not been able to gain employment in the industry on a constant basis. I am leaving for Canada in a couple of months and was wondering if anybody here could advise me as to where I maximise my chances of finding work in the industry. I have heard conflicting reports, one person says Vancouver is the North Hollywood and then somebody else will say that Toronto is where its at. I know that it is hard everywhere to get a break but I have a good work ethic and attitude ..so just looking for some opinions.. would appreciate them very much..I am also considering applying for permanent visa so this is also to be considered.. regards Barry |

but from a geological point of view..lo. toronto is super hot and muggy in the summer, great ppl and public transportation vancouver is quite nice in the summer, great ppl and crappy public transportation there are productions happening in both everywhere, i know that albertas film is growing also. i'm sure u can find work as a PA in Toronto, Vancouver just as quick.
