Google offers Free Websites
http://pages.google.com/
Found this last night....Google is now offering to it's gmail members--the chance to use and build, host their own websites free on Google. Easy to use templates---uploading of pictures, files, movies etc and linking to it etc. You get a 100 megabyte storage[dunno about the transfer limits]. You can't tweak a lot of your HTML code, which is a blessing for a lot of people. Give it a try! And if anyone needs a free gmail account let me know![Almost everyone that wants one has one nowadays...] |

Can't Microsoft come up with their own ideas? I mean now they're stealing Apple's marketing techniques... what next?

[Though my knee jerk reaction is that anything that doesn't work with Safari sucks! The Gap website for one...] Googlepages is still in Beta of course, but works okay for me. It's good for building very simple sites, right in your web browser and spares us from a lot of HTML code. Though I wouldn't mind the ability to FTP in the future... And free is absolutely good. |
