Mayor of Torino's speech interupted at Olympic Colsing Ceremonies.

As the Mayor of Torino was speaking at the Olympic Closing Ceremonies, someone in the crowd rushed to the second microphone and tried to say something. He was quickly rushed off by security.

This character who charged the podium was wearing a teeshirt with the name "Golden Palace" on it. It turns out this is an online gambling enterprise and he was attempting to get some cheap, international publicity for it. I'd say he was gambling that his hand wouldn't be permanently folded, before they realized he wasn't a terrorist.

After listening to the playback several times, I believe he shouted something like, "Passione vive a Torino! (passion lives in Torino). What this has to do with gambling, I can't imagine.
It was reported that a guy who was wearing nothing but the Golden Palace name painted on his chest, streaked the curling venue. That may have livened up things for the dour Scots who founded the sport. A woman tried to streak the closing cermonies, but was intercepted by the vigilant security force, which could just as well have had another lapse, as far as I'm concerned.
