I heard an analyst discussing this today on Bloomberg, and he raised a very interesting point. In the past, Intel has offered discounts to box makers who put the "Intel inside" sticker on their machines. Apple is not likely to share the spotlight with anyone on the new Macs however since they push the Apple brand so hard. But now that Intel is getting rid of the "Intel inside" campaign it will allow Apple to participate in the discounts without putting a sticker on the new Macs...

It's probably my fault that they're changing it. I kept referring to the Intel Inside thing as a "warning label".
