16mm and 35mm >transfer to dv formatts

Well I hope I am posting in the right place ....
\so any wrangler can please advise me .
The situation :
I have a lot of film aquisition material 16mm and 35mm
I will be doing more in the future as I work with my dvx100a on digital sd aquistion
My question is :
Does anyone have a refrence to good and affordable film to digital transferr house Anywhere in the USA ?
I assume Dv film in texas is good
but i am interested in starting a list .
The tech requirement would entail getting from the film an out put product that would be between 1k and 2k preferrable on portable hard drive and not on tape .
Thanks for any response or advice
Bruce

These guys do great work, albeit a bit slow, but they stand by the motto "quality over quantity." http://www.bonofilm.com/home.asp

Most of the major transfer houses will telecine your filmstock to whatever tape format you want. Look into DuArts, Monaco,Yale... just google for 'film transfer' and you will get a list.
