New South Wales driving licence conditions..
This is for New South Wales Australia members, visitors and others of a certain age.
When you reach the grand old age of 85, you have to undertake a Roads/Traffic/Association bi-annual driving test to retain your licence. Here in Sydney, I found the National Roads Members Association does this RTA test so I booked a driving test with them. Out of interest here’s the receipt I got after my successful biannual NRMA/RTA driving test earlier in Feb 2025. On the right I think S is speed, P is parking, D is driving, H is 1 hour And R is reversing. I never did any parking or reversing tests, if I failed any other part of the test, I might have had to do them. After an hour assessing my normal driving the tester just ticked them all. If anyone knows that S, P and D mean something different, pls let us know. Hope this helps others reading this. Click to enlarge it. Cheers.

Re: New South Wales driving licence conditions..
I imagine the guy looked at your driving and after a short time thought "I can see you're going to totally blitz this thing so let's call it a day and I'll get on to the next one".
Congrats on passing with flying colours! Andrew |

Re: New South Wales driving licence conditions..
Hi Andrew, thanks.
For interested folk in NSW, there’s more. When my driving test was imminent, a few friends recommended I take a driving lesson to brush up and get my head in the right place. Why? because apparently many people get psychologically pissed when they have to take a driving test, after they’ve been driving safely for many years without an accident. And during their test they make simple mistakes, enough to endanger their licence. So I did, but the few driving schools I called don’t do just one lesson, they want callers who need a full driving course. Then I found the NRMA does do this, so I booked with them, and the final test as well. Cheers.
