US Open coverage - poor sound?

Is it just me or does it sound like they've only got one microphone covering a whole court? It's echoey, you can barely hear the umpire and the crowd are totally off mike?

It's expecially bad on the Arthur Ashe court.

I agree with you, in that it sounds bad, but I've been watching tennis broadcasts since I was in diapers and they're pretty much all like that. However, I'll usually mute the tube when there's a match with grunters (i.e. that Argentians vs. the Chilean...can't remember their names).
