Yet another free software question
Thanks for all the great advice about free web designers and free photoshop-like apps. Today, I'm asking about free PDF editors. Any advice on free apps that can edit PDF docs, esp. in terms of making a PDF document's margins smaller, while making the text still fit in the doc (ie, not get cut off)?
Thanks, heath

this may not be precisely what you're looking for, heath, but i'm gonna pimp my friend patrick's new PDF form manipulating software, FormMate. it's not free, but it's cheap ($29.95), has a downloadable free demo, and is pretty cool....plus, its inventor is one of the nicest, sweetest people on the planet....

Thanks! What I'm trying to do, basically, is take an existing PDF with 1 inch margins, sized at 8.5 x 11, and make it 5x8 without cutting anything off. I know my document will grow, but that's to be expected.

Will you be needing the software any more beyond that need? I believe Adobe provides a 30-day trial period of their software, which you can download directly from their site.

PC or Mac?
Preview under Mac 10.4 will let you do that. |
