Shuttle Discovery is Home!
Well it's in California anyway. Will have to be taken home on the 747 again.
It landed in the dark, but they had a great infra-red camera, and the footage was neat. Welcome home all. Mike

I listened ti it on the radio driving in to work...as an "old guy", I remember the space race, going to the moon and the Apollo 13 (not the one with Tom Hanks) near miss... it still leaves me amazed every time we send people into and return them from beyond our atmosphere. Thank God for their safe return.
