my short film world premiere at Houston Comedy Film Festival
Hi all. I know some of you are Houston-based, so I wanted to let you know that the sequel to "The Ninjews"
YouTube - The Ninjews was finally finished in August of this year and will have its world premiere at the Houston Comedy Film Festival in, strangely enough, Houston, TX. My screening is on Friday 12/3, in the 9PM block of short films. Festival takes place at the Alamo Drafthouse at West Oaks Mall. They serve food and drinks in the theaters so in addition to puking from laughter, and you can puke from drunkness and overeating as well! Tix to each block of short films are $8.50 Here's is the movie's "official page" Ninjews episode 2 And the festival's page with all relevant location, pricing, and scheduling info: Houston Comedy Film Festival Hope to see you there. WARNING: for real, I would encourage those with strong feelings or sensitivities related to religion to NOT attend, as this movie may be pretty offensive to some. Thanks. |

Thanks. There should be a few other chances. A bunch of production folks have been putting on a festival on and off for the last few years, with the neat benefit of screening every single submission (unlike most fests). Last time it was a mixed showing of short films and local bands made up of video/film production people. They didn't do one this year. Hopefully next.
In addition, some friends of mine who do the same stuff put on a "festival" every few years. I use quotes 'cause it's more of a showcase for all our work. No awards, no open submissions. But they rent out a theater, sell tix, have food/drinks. I entered worldfest Houston, so we'll see. Fingers crossed. |
