Flash audio question
On my website I added background music. This is annoying to content producers, but clients usually enjoy it. However, the sound is a little too loud for my taste. Is there a way to adjust the volume in flash prior to export? I do not want to add controls to the site, only sound on/off.
Thanks |

You'd possibly have to edit the sound levels in the recording prior to importing the asset in to Flash.
It would be a good idea to have a button to turn the background music on rather than have it start by default. That way it is "opt-in" for the visitor. Web sites with auto-playing music remind me of the MIDI / muzak horrors from back in the 90s. And back then the web site owners thought they were wonderful. (shudder) Andrew |

Thanks Andrew. I don't have any sound-editing software, but I was able to bring the .mp3 into Premiere and adjust it there. That's another reason I wanted to make it lower, so it would be more of a relaxer than an annoyance. Kind of an unconscious thought.
