Camcorder for Wife / Girlfriend
Alright people, I've searched the forum and didn't find anything relevant. So here's the deal...
Those of you who have bought camcorders for your wife or girlfriend - Post here the type of camcorder you bought. And in either case, whether you bought one or not post here any suggestions on what type of camcorder is good for a girlfriend / wife. My guess price range would be $100 - $300 (including outlets such as ebay) Nothing complicated, easy to use, good video quality. I've searched through camcorderinfo.com and just couldn't decide on anything. So any suggestions appreciated for a decent quality camcorder which would produce decent quality video. Thanks. :) BTW I just got my XL2 Oh yeah :) |

Take a look at the Canon ZR 60. I use this and my ZR 80 as backup cameras and they do a great job. I picked up the ZR 60 for $168 from 6th avenue during their clearance sale =)

Thanks fellas.
What's really upsetting is that I would feel happy if I would buy something like Canon Elura 90 or ZR300 for about $150. Now then I would be happy :) Optura 400 don't look bad either. Oogh. I think my price range just increased from $100 to $200 on the low end. Still a bit shaky to go higher on the high end. Keep me posted if anyone knows any good deals. In any case, I have to buy it this week. |

If you are still looking, Dell has a great deal on the Canon ZR100:
Canon ZR100 for $267 with free shipping. They also have the ZR200 for $299

Misunderstood!

My spice has a palm sized JVC. Not much in features as this was one of the very first miniDV palm cams, but she does enjoy the small size so it can become another of the two-hundred items lost in the duffle bag she calls a purse.
