You have to upload the clip elsewhere on a hosting site, and then link to it here. |

Thanks Jesse,
I guess it will be a while before I can do that. I need to get a site build first.

I was on holiday in Melbourne Australia and wanted to get a shot of the city from a high building. I found the best view was from the mens toilet, near the top of this building. I got a great shot of the city allright. But on replay the reflection on the glass window was of the inside of the toilet. These guys were really 'hanging out'.

Had a kid walk by and try to non-chalantly flip me the bird while taping. I guess he thought he was real smart and that I wouldn't see it until later. I just gave him a 'you're an idiot' look and proclaimed, "No problem, we can just edit that out."
-gb- p.s. Owen, have you purchased a polarizing filter for your camera yet? :-) |

Wow greg, do you have enough cameras yet? And how much do polarizing filters cost for the XL2. I already got killed on buying the Wide andgle 3x zoom. It has a built in ND but no Polarizing. Would it work on both lenses. I know it's off topic but I do need some of that stuff.
Too bad they don't have idiot filters. If I could make one of those I'd be rich.

The filter thread on the XL wide angle and standard lens are the same. I use a linear polariser with no problem. No so expensive.

I've never understood while as long as I was shooting TV news, I could put anyone I wanted on TV as long as I got the shot from public space. Why is it different for a commercial production?
BTW, I always used to blow the really tuff guys kisses! They either fell apart laughing and left me alone, or ran off cause thier friends were laughing at them. Works with drivers who flip you off also. |
