Buying music on the web
Can anyone tell me the best place to buy MP3's off the web?
I want to be able to play them on anything I choose, so no I-Tunes. What's the next best place in price vs ease of use vs selection?

I sure as hell hope it ain't illegal, but I've been using http://www.allofmp3.com/. An initial $5 USD down payment goes a long way in the Russian economy. Pretty good selection there, too, plus choice of bitrate.

I don't know guys, it sounds a little questionable.... Evidently the site's terms of use say that you cannot use their service “if it is in conflict with legislation of your country.” They appear to be exploiting a loophole in Russian laws which makes the service legal there.

I think you're right. After checking it all out I decided not to join because I think they're gathering information...whom is gathering it? It could be US posing as Russia...scary.
