Hotmail password issues
Has anyone had issues with Hotmail in the last 5 days with your password not working?
I have and know 2 other people as well who have, multiple times. Just wondering if anyone else out there has to, or knows why.

Does the screen say that you have made too many attempts to access your account yet? If so, that's not good because the servers think that an unauthorized person or whatever is trying to access your account. This happened to me about 4 years ago when I forgot my password. I tried several times in a row to enter the password or what I thought it was and it never let me back in even after a few weeks. I had to wait about 90 days for the account to terminate and release that name and then I had to re-register it again. I would not try to attempt access more than three times consecutively in the same day if I were you. Other than that, I have no idea what's wrong. I have several hotmail accounts and accessed them all today with no problems.

Nope, not too many failed attempts. After attempt X I just changed the password and it worked fine. It simply wouldn't acknolwledge the password. It's up to 5 people/instances that I know of this happening in the last 4 days, as it happened again today to one of the people.

We are probably on different server groups. I didn't get my free 250 meg update on some 2-3 year old accounts until just recently. Whereas others that I know got theirs right from the beginning or shortly thereafter.

Yeah, I've been having a hell of a time with my hotmail account for the past few days. It keeps making me look at all these crazy letters and number and type them into a box. Those things aren't always easy to read either.

Mine keeps making me re-enter my password, even though I have it saved.
