Looking for archival war footage
If anyone could point me to a good source for royalty free archival war footage that I don't have to pay for, I would be much appreciative. I'm actually looking to extract frames and build a collage. So with this in mind, photographs are also acceptable. Thanks for any information on this subject.

Don't know if you'll find exactly what you're looking for, but a great place to start for finding archived footage of old newsreel or government propaganda type footage is the Prelinger Archives.
Do a search for "war" at: http://www.archive.org/movies/prelinger.php |
