NY Times on Wong Kar Wai
I've you've only see "In the Mood for Love" or if you've only heard of his name, you should read this article in the NY Times about one of the greatest filmmakers working today.
"The Director's Director" (NYT Magazine September 26, 2004) The article addresses his long and convoluted production of 2046 but it also provides a template for discussing his idiosynchratic and frustrating workmethods, his relationship with Christopher Doyle and the actors and actresses who seek him out and then leave him.
